I am a novice self-taught baker, and this was my very first in-person baking class. I decided very last minute to sign up, and it was SO worth it. Satomi is very friendly and knowledgable, and I learned a bunch about Japanese culture and bread baking in general from her. When I returned to the US, I baked both shokupan and curry pan for a couple physicians who I work with. They both are Japanese natives and absolutely loved them!
